The stack trace indicates that myth is crashing in some code related to rendering models, but that doesn't make much sense since you were playing on Gimble which has no models. Either the trace is wrong or something funky is going on.

You said this was happening a lot, so post some more logs and we'll see if there are any clues.

Hmm. Looks like there might be a few different things in there.

Two crashes "__byte_swap_data". This usually indicates corrupt tags or plugins. Both of yours were when playing "Ground Zero" on "Magma TFL Multipack", so it seems highly likely that plugin is corrupt. You could try an MD5 check.

Two crashes in "_get_bitmap" usually mean corrupt collection files. Both on "A Murder of Crows" with "Myth HD Total Conversion v1.2".

Six crashes with empty stack traces, or lowlevel graphics functions. These are usually graphics driver bugs, or possibly failing graphics card (hardware).

One crash in the network code. This looks like it might be a bug. I am not surprised that there might still be bugs in that code which only occur very rarely.

Two crashes in build_scene. These are the most curious, no idea what could be going on there.


I'll need to know how to reproduce a crash to be able to say more or to fix anything.

Yes I wrote in my first post of crash logs on this thread, how that I thought that some of these might be from what I believe is my venarable nVida Geforce 7800 GTX finally dying. But I edited that out to see if you would find a video card problem without being directed in that area.
Just as I thought, you saw some logs that make you think the video card is at fault. I always get the newest drivers as well. But they never really release anything for this 8 year old card. I have lots more crash logs, and I can try to locate all the films that go along with them, as well as the required plugins. Glad to see my messing around on myth and crashing a lot can help out! :D
