No one will talk to me online! (New Player)

Hey Guys,

Old School Myth player here joining up again for the first time in years. Being one of my favorite games ever (Used to be a part of the Deer clan many years ago), I would love to get back into the online scene (What is left of it anyway). but it seems like when I log in to a room with people, no one will even talk to me! Am I doing something wrong here?

no they are probably just away from their computers

its hard to find a game at 2:36 in the middle of the week, as most of the day time mythers have moved on from the summer.
you can probably find someone to talk to later at night.

I've been trying around this time, between 830-10 EST.

FWIW there's ~20 or so players online now and a game going if you guys are around at these sorts of times (~8pm PST).

Punk, please for the love of god implement the feature I always ask for where if somebody is idle/afk for more then 30 mins or something their name gets grayed out or has an "AFK" tag on it. It helps absolutely nobody for people to have no idea who is online, or has been afk in the lobby for 2 days strait.

That is a client "feature" so "for the love of god" stop bugging me about it.

Besides it doesn't really matter either way. If someone doesn't answer you then they are either AFK or don't care... same diff in terms of whether they are going to play.

A client feature eh? You say that like you do not make changes to the client all the time or have not done so in the past.
So when you happen to get some free time and feel like making some updates, for the love of god pretty please do it, its an issue, even if you do not recognize it as one.
BESIDES There needs to be an update/patch to 1.8 anyways so Gate Of Storms is the default server instead of marius. Which exactly as I predicted it would, died never to return.

The point is you need to go post this stuff over at PM.net, not here.

That is being actively worked on, although if you are able to port forward you should only have to set it up once...
