What kind of off season tourney do you prefer?

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

What kind of off season tourney do you prefer and would you acctually attend?

What kind of off season tourney do you prefer?

Take under consideration that the tourney you choose would not last longer then 4 weeks and made as simple as possible.
I dont take 2t tourney since we already got mwc for that and should be held holy:).

Are there any other tourney type you would prefer?

2v2 to be specific.

Eastwind and I will be choosing PG and Badlands for our map choices.

Any attempts at a 3v3 tournament will just flop, like how they have the past 12 years.

FFA allows for easy substitution and lots of intrigue.

1v1 is good but the style of 1v1 tournaments is always very similar, and while it's not necessarily bad a fresh concept would be interesting.

For example, instead of the "Best of 5, win by 2, rotate picks, low/high seed picks first",
could do a "each player picks one/two map(s), is/are played twice, 5th/7th map is decided by TO and alternates by round"
