what is a good free video converter software

I am making vids but in their raw state they rack up massive file sizes. I need somthing to convert them into a smaller state so I can get these video's on the youtube more effectively. So if you want to help me out give me links plz

The program you are using to make the videos should have an 'export' option which will save the video into a smaller, more common format.

no it just has video capture, audio and fps settings. No export option for fraps, FF split is only opened so that Fraps can work using my O.S software as a layer nothing more.

if someone could help me put on udogs my formations, so I can link a download to it for new players in my tutorial it would be really great. I am pretty sure I will be denied on the Tain as its not a map thing and they dont want every player uploading formations. I need something more permanent than a temp download site. If you can help with this ill e-mail the file much appreciated.

Why don't you try the tain? I don't really see why they wouldn't want formations on there...

Why not build the formations into an addon? It is something the Tain already supports, but does not have its own section yet. You will need Oak to make it into an addon. It is just a file similar to a plugin but is not required by all users in the same game. Addons normally get used for detail textures or for altering text, nothing gameplay related. This also helps mapmakers so they don't accidently include their custom formations or camera stuff in plugins they make. The addon will work as long as you are on v1.7.0+ of Myth2.

I.M.O The problem with the formations idea on the tain is that I can imagine hundreds of submissions almost spam of single files all over the site, although I approve you would need to monitor it closely.

if you got a link to OAK that would be great as well.
