recently we got a new player on the server, who speaks portugesse but lives in macau China. his name is prometheus, and he is still learning, so i encourage you all to talk to this cat who seems to have already hit a learning curve. I wanna see him 1v1 father xmas on each other's hosts, immediately.

anyway, a big thanks to new mutator and all the other people who put together myth media (grim, ducky, gkg) for getting people interested in this game that still ain't quite dead yet.

did he serious find out about this game from youtube??? I've made a few vids myself, but I'm 99% sure all my views have come from active mythers... wish there was an easy way of reaching a wider audience haha.

There were a few people that came "back" to at least check stuff out from seeing the 1.8 Promo Video on youtube (check the comments for it too), so it's not impossible. The more material there is out there the more likely people who feel nostalgic and google for it find the motivation to reinstall

Yeah honestly, if we want to find people to play myth, at this rate, it will come from finding viewers from previously established media sources, or sources we create from here-on-out.


he literally found the game on youtube and got interested on his own. Video representation of m2 gameplay, might be the game's greatest chance at advertising to bring more people to the game.
