I have defeated the legendary DRIZZT of POOP and TIRRI of NP fame, 5-4, in an epic retirement match rivaling Chohan vs Shaister, Chohan vs Erik, et al.

two courtesy games were played following the retirement match, both on gyre, where tirri won 2-0.
Therefore tirri's official retirement is pending approval by the TROW COUNCIL. Belts not included.
Epic 1v1 Retirement Match - Paris vs Tirri
Re: Epic 1v1 Retirement Match - Paris vs Tirri
this was an epic 6-5 victory for me. its clear that i am unretired due to the 2 comeback gyre victories. the only thing unclear now is whether paris is retired or not. can we get confirmation from asmodian on this
Re: Epic 1v1 Retirement Match - Paris vs Tirri
After having an in depth discussions with my counselors we have come to a conclusion that one does not merely have a retirement match without someone being retired. Paris will continue to finish his duties as host of MWC and at the conclusion he will be forced to go into retirement.
signed,
-Asmo Trow Belt dian.
Rule: 125 section: B - One can come out of retirement if the player A who forced the other player B into retirement allows him to resume his career or if someone beats player A in a un-retirment match on behalf of player B

Re: Epic 1v1 Retirement Match - Paris vs Tirri
yep, chohan had more honor.
you can tell tirri cared a whole lot when he played these, that is clearly his top clicking speed there, so that's as good as it gets for him. his care is further proven by him trying to go back now and count courtesy games of playing gyre twice after par already won. who plays the same map twice in a retirement series anyway? clearly those are courtesy games, especially when there are no films saved of them.
he did call par the better player during the match after he lost, but apparently he wants to try to pretend like that never happened.
anyway, tirri is clearly retired now. congrats par. maybe after a while you can let tirri play again.
the kg game was the most impressively played game, nice play there par.
maybe par is 5 balls now?

tirri isn't playing in mwc. didn't you get the memo? he doesn't care, remember?

Trow council informed me the last two games were deemed part of the official match, so I added them to the tourney link above.
