Many factors can drive it. Maybe his color selections? You're putting your peachy trow on a lime green background! Presentration skills??
Or maybe it's the render quality that's the point of difference.
You can see the gloss, arteries, definitions of skulls in trow belt and as ARDEN said, you can almost figure the asshole in last image.

lime green background is how sprites work falc... and how tv works.

that color is so uncommon that you can superimpose a picture on it and you do bitmap replacement over the ugly green with whatever you want the background to be, it's pretty seamless and has been in place for a long long long time. the algorithms to overwrite the green are surprisingly simple to write, they even teach it to kids learning matlab who arent cs majors.

This is true, but Myth doesn't actually need chroma-keying or similar, there's an explicit alpha channel, so you can render it against whatever background you want. Obviously for showing off the model you can do whatever too

Falcon, I think you are mistaking a render with enviromental lighting from a game engine for a model looking better.

The greenscreen was for use in Adobe Premiere, I just showed that image because the trow is rendered in "wax" and shows of the muscles well.

Maybe I will put a a 360 video of our guys on the HD thread I made.
