What's the reasoning for removing the ability to change display names on the metaserver? I just started playing again and I miss that feature :(

GKG complained to punk user that my name was too close to his so punk user removed the feature of name changing.

Just look back in the forums for the early threads about this - I'm not going to rehash it all :) Note that you can happily play as a guest with any unregistered name that you want.
