RANK WORKS ON GOS?! LIKE OMG!

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

PunkUser,

Rank should not count unless there are a minimum 4 player in the game. Makes it harder to abuse the system is this something that would work?

Why should 1vs1's not count towards rank?

I don't understand the whole system yet, but for a 1vs1 you can only get 1 point. The more opponents you are playing against the more potential points you can get so it encourages larger games. Also wtf would someone abuse ranked on myth2, there is like 100 players? PunkUser heard out people and did the community a favor so it would be very lame to abuse this system. I would think it would discourage him to listen to the community anymore if that happened.

So, can you lose ranks, or is this just sort of like an incremental xp thing?

No losing points/ranks. XP is a good way of thinking of it, yeah.

It's basically just to encourage folks to play more (and bigger) games with a little carrot :) I'll get to the full post describing it later tonight.
