In an unweighted QR you are correct.


However Paris scheduled the QR in a semi-weighted fashion, in order to have more competitive/fun matches in the QR. Overall match scores should not have as much impact as your competition.

If we split the QR pools into tiers here is how I would rank them:

Tier A:

TMNS
Agents
TMNT


Tier B:

ZOMG
WTC
Tcox


Tier C:

Deer
ULMS
Devil's Rejects
Blades


So the only change I could see in regards to changing the DE 1 teams would be to switch tcox with deer. Either way they play a top team in DE 2

There is really no difference between disqualifying a team and letting them forfeit.

Your brackets are just attempting to give down and out former contenders a free shot at the #1 and #2 seed in DE 2. You guys should have to get past WTC/ZOMG before you play TMNS
