So every map has statues from the great divide as assassin targets, placed strategically around the map, sometimes just 2 or three, or sometimes a dozen, so keep that in mind if I recommend assassin.

Quixotism FG (terries or assassin)

Acts (trow) Flag Rally

Grave reason (FG) captures or FR or assassin

Asmo you can go ahead and choose all 5 games if you want. Limp says he doesn't want to pick any (and I don't particularly either). I will just quickly double check them to make sure they are good to go.

Your map picks are terrible and lack creativity. I propose you jerkoffs play single player coop at the same time and whoever can beat the map first wins the MWC FINALS 2016.

I am hesitant about any captures picks since there are usually massive problems with it at worst, and at best it is almost always uninteresting strategically, but I will take a look. At worst I may just want to change the gametype.

Maybe you can pick on limp's behalf zak if he doesn't mind. You seem to want to, you are on his team, and he doesn't want to pick anyway. I'm mostly fine with picks as long as it doesn't look horrible and asmo isn't completely against it, it should be fine.

The chatblighting is only in round 1 of DE form, not even finals status yet. Much like your 'world cup'.. more like Myth World Coup. My butt doesn't hurt as much as yours, clearly. My dick is sort of sore from slapping you around in the forums though..

Okay I reviewed asmo and zak's picks and these are the changes so far:

-Dun Caric is changed to king of the map instead of CTF due to the NE start having too much of a start advantage
-Grave (FG) is vetoed. It has a weird unit type on it, only 1 kind of arty unit, and nothing very good to keep FG's in check. Calm (FG) also vetoed for the same reasons.
-I am fine with sieve light but I suggest a new gametype other than koth so the full map can be utilized. This will be sent to asmo and limp for further approval

Zak I am fine with taking picks, but make them more conventional. Uninteresting weird unit types just for the sake of doing something different is not good enough. Also FG picks need to have a very careful balance on them to keep FG's somewhat in check.

Wasps are spiders that can fly and firbolg are archers with pus arrows, neither are very new or uninteresting. Adapting to them would be pretty easy. On grave there is only 1 FG, with tons of potential for it to get wighted, and the warlocks will do tons of damage to it too, if it isn't swarmed by wasps.

Under Muirthemne light/shadow/dark. Light KOTM worked well in mwc15 finals. Would like to see shadow or dark though since they are a little faster paced for a fairly large map.

Might also have something brand new ready by then.

I'm pretty sure I will be using Under Muirthemne. I'm a huge fan of it and the games on it have played out really well.

I've forgotten which they're on, but could we please not have any maps that use the "old" TFL FGs, and make sure it's only the (Badlands?) one that Piety uses?

And if Zak wants to do us a solid, he can replace those for us and give us updated meshes.

I am fine with the pick except maybe the gametype on majestic falls. My primary concern is that it will be too boring for most people playing it. It is a huge map to be playing CTF on with FG's in the mix. I will have limp weigh in. If anyone else has an opinion on that let us know.

I think I may want to suggest changing the gametype on that. I like the map, just not that gametype for it. I know FR has been done before, but terries, kotm, or even koth would be better imo.

Sorry for the delay in looking at these.

I like these picks. We will go with hver dark instead of shadow.

The only one I was kind of "meh" about is acts of cruelty, but I guess trying to put an fg map in there since a few ppl wanted that, and its one of the few fairly well balanced fg maps.

I will run them by limp to get final approval or get his input.

Limp please try to have map/game picks done by say around Wednesday, so we have enough time to review / confirm them. Also may want to have 1 or 2 extra picked out in case I see any issues with any of them. 7- game series remember.

Here are the proposed finals maps if I get to pick them. I took a lot of time to get the perfect balance of unit sets/game types & fun maps

it's like I told you before zak, your picks have too many weird units. need more normal stuff. gametypes are pretty terrible too (lmoth but no kotm). We just got done doing hver dark fr last week too so we aren't repeating that. and I am not convinced that would make a good FG map since there is no pus, fetch, or dorf heroes. Also need 7 maps.

Limp, need maps from you by end of the day tomorrow. Otherwise we might just go with Asmo's picks.

Limp, your tallow abbey TE pick is bugged on CTF. The south start has 2 flags. Better quality control plz. Need a new pick, or change the gametype to a non-bugged one.

Edit: nevermind. for some reason the problem went away later. I must have had a different mesh selected or something, not sure what happened actually. I remember this map having this problem before though too.

Also, can you confirm that "Sneer of Cold Command" is actually the correct mesh name for game 6 / shattered visage?

Looks good for the most part.

Poison Holiday as one of the KOTM picks, meh. (going to just be BC in the end instead of a true KOTM type of game)

Tallow Abbey CTF zzzz. Map is too small for ctf; it will turn into a game of BC rather than a good game of CTF where strategy plays a big part. You pretty much confirm that by putting the game time to 16 mins on a map that small. Might as well just play Lmoth

Shattered Visage: I feel like Bre ninjas would be a good unit to add on this mesh of Shattered Visage. There is nothing to really to counter the Mortars as is so it's going to be pretty campy. (ok pick regardless, but i know people are going to complain about the campiness of it)


So yeah anyway my suggestions is change the Tallow Abbey pick to a better map for CTF & Poison Holiday as well. Giant units on KOTM in general is pretty bad, but if you really want a trow map for KOTM I would at least go for When the Trow Comes around. Better flag placement and map for KOTM.

I suggest you take my advice as someone who didn't pick captures for every round of a MWC :lol: . Just busting your balls, good picks overall, but change the two I suggested!
