MWC Mumble Server

Hey everyone, MWC is here and a new Mumble server has been set up for use this year. If you or your team would like a room for playing, practicing, strategizing, or just hanging out let me know and I'll set one up with a private password.

Here's the server info:

Address - mwc.resonantfrequency.net
Port - 64738

You do not need a password to connect.

Click through the certificate dialogs (certificates are a security feature that aren't necessary, so just accept it for now).

When opening Mumble for the first time, you'll be asked to configure your mic with the audio wizard. This is important, so read the instructions very carefully so you can minimize issues with ambient noise, volume settings, peaking, and so forth. The audio wizard will give you immediate feedback that will help you monitor your outputs and adjust accordingly. Push-to-talk, as well as alternative schemas, are supported, so set those up as you desire.

Finally, for new users, I recommend disabling the overlay and text-to-speech.
