Lets disband team asmo and dantski

Lets disband these 2 teams and then have a mini-draft between the remaining 6 captains to give their teams some more depth and activity.

flip a coin to decide whether ratty or gkg picks last, then zak's kids picks 4th, team GK picks 3rd, team paris picks 2nd, and team limp picks 1st.

I predict the first 6 players chosen would be gekko, dantski, cruniac, browning, PK, and asmodian or maybe enculator. Its okay if the first pick is way better than the last, because the last team to pick is arguably already stacked!

I say fuck you, and just get on with life this is a draft tourney and its why we had the sub rule in place. Asmo has a great squad full of cool people and he can count on us to get the job done.

I would only be fine with this if I am not forced to take players I don't want. Right now I have 2 players that I still can't get in touch with and don't know if I ever will, so I don't know if they will ever show up for matches or even log onto mariusnet. So I would just want to basically replace those 2 players if needed.

Edit: yea looking at those rosters, there is no way I would get to pick 2 players that I would want, so I really wouldn't be interested in doing this. I think the sub system will carry those 2 teams if needed.

haha yea pretty much. Not every player needs to be 4 ballers, there are some that I like because they make up for it in other ways, good team chemistry, willing to take small roles, reliable, listens, etc. I like punkuser, pallidice, and dac on my team for this reason. However there are no players that I like even from that standpoint on those 2 rosters. It would also be hard to split up those 2 teams fairly too, the first picks will get the good players, and that's it.

You have an argument with splitting up the players fairly would be difficult but that's about it. Cruniac,Browning,PK,Gekko,Dantiski,Enculator,Honkey,Milkman and Myself all fit your criteria for teammates you would want on your roster.

I see how to split it relatively fairly for 5 teams, the 6th team gets fucked, unless there is a team out there that would take someone besides dant, gekko, pk, brown, and cruniac. I am not going to volunteer my team to be the 6th team that gets fucked. The 6th team could get asmo and milk man maybe as consolation, but not sure if that is even fair still.

As dac said, I would only agree to it if we got PK back, since I did trade him away.

When it comes from players like lolki its justified but when more tourney experienced players utter the rubbish, it sounds retarded!
A. The first week games were not scheduled at all. I wonder why they were played so soon but that's another debate.
B. Every squad except a couple had attendance issues.
C. Our cap never made cept a game and we ended up losing with quite a margin.
D. Stop bitching if you really care and get your shit together for week 2.
E. Is it really that hard for people to see an 8 team tourney happening in 2013?

I understand this wouldn't be fair for you, but at the same time your roster has you (best player in game right now), adren (easily top 5 player), myrk (possible top 10), Evil Jake (in the right role, a BC artist), and dac (underrated role player). Thats a solid squad. Picking up enculator/browning/milk man/asmo would create a solid squad you wouldn't have to babysit. Team ratking would be in a similar situation. Meanwhile these teams that went 1-4 will get another heavy hitter that they are sorely missing, and team GK/zak will get another skilled player to add depth to their roster. It would be hard to say that team GK or Zak would beat ratking or GKG on paper right now.

gekko performed very poorly the last time I teamed with him, and more recent rabble games I have seen. Just my observation. He can be a great player I agree, but sometimes you get good Gekko, and sometimes you get shitty Gekko, and I don't care to roll the dice again after I have already lost that bet before.

uhm, the definition of tournaments is inherently to compete. I also certainly do not remember when it was supposed to be the intention of this draft tournament to be "friendly and carefree". Friendly and carefree is very different than competition. If we wanted friendly and carefree, then stick with the kickball weekends which were already going on and accomplishing the same thing with picked captains and relatively even teams. This is a fucking tournament competition. If you can't show some care to win, and handle a little natural abrasion in the course of any competition, then get the fuck out. Or if "friendly and carefree" was the intention of the T.O. then don't call it a tournament so all of us that came to compete would know not to waste our time and refrain from participating. Since competition, care and drama of tournaments is what keeps this community going and coming back together year after year, I really doubt that would be the case. Rabble games are friendly and carefree, you can play those any day you want.

1) this is a draft tourney and i think it was a great idea becuase it makes teams more even than if u just stack a team. It would probably be better to try and pick players that get along and work well together than just pick the best players but that is just my opinion.

2) the first week matches were fucked when it was scheduling was the next day after the draft. GET OVER IT. Try harder next week. we only had 4 people show on our team and so did the team we were playing which was limps.

3) Everyone that plays myth must know by now the everyone is a bunch of haters and assholes. this is myth get use to it.
