Rosters and elminated teams

Do you think players on teams that have been eliminated should be able to jump onto another team. I think its fucking retarded to be honest because it defeats the purpose of calling it an elimination.
Rosters have also been announced to stay open for seven fucking weeks as well which in my opinion should have been closed after the qualifying round or DE1 ages ago.
Using subs if there is an issue with player attendance what the purpose of the team is for.
Remembering also you can only field 6-7 players maximum and placing 12-14 players (forget if its changed) on a single team seems to me more like a rabble game than a proper team established tournament.
