Asmo's Pre-Easter 2vs2 Tournament

I will be hosting a 2 vs 2 tournament this weekend . You DO NOT need to sign up for it,, you just need to show up at 2pm Est and find a partner then or have someone show up with you.

When? March 30th @ 3pm est (server time)[/size]

How long? This will most likely take about 3 hours for whichever two teams make the finals and much shorter if your team gets eliminated early

Format It will be double elimination with the first 16 teams to show up and message me filling in those spots.


Rules

The First Round/First bottom bracket round will be best of 3(win by two) with the first map being PG LMONTH 10 mins. The loser of the first game will get to choose the 2nd map/game type and picks will alternate between teams with each pick after that.

Every Other Round will be best of 5 (win by two) with the first map being Gimble/CTF 10 mins and the loser of the first game will get to choose the 2nd map/game type and picks will alternate between teams with each pick after that.

I love the idea of 2v2 I think the only sad thing is limiting it to the stock maps, especially in a tournament setting. I think you should add a few 3rd party ones to the list outside of ones (Both teams agree on). If you want I could give you a small list of like 6-8 ones you could then check yourself 1st.

On 2nd thought I don't care that much, i'll be there to play.

Yeah, I have no problem using 3rd party maps, I just don't want to dig through all the maps on Zak's map pack to see which ones are ok and not, but if you want a certain one that appears to be good just let me know and I will take a look at it.

It looks like you already changed your mind anyways though.
