I played the first game a while back, skipped #2 since I heard it sucked, and I've done a few playthroughs of #3.

I play it regularly. Always fun to make a new build and run through. I try to stop leveling around 100 - 120 now, otherwise PvP just gets ridiculous

So.....how bout that Dark Souls 3? Just got done making a faith lightning build that was pretty sick. Raw Dragonslayer Axe with lightning blade definitely does work. Working on a strength build right now

Im actually running a playthrough with the Exile Greatsword and the Dragonslayer Axe upgraded with a dex and faith build. Dragonslayer Axe is pretty good in PvE esp with lightning blade on it although its weapon skill is pretty much useless since it takes off lightning blade. Exile Greatsword really good for PvP, although I dislike the long time it takes to swing vs some bosses. Beat a tag team of invaders with it which was hilarious. It's hard to fit most of the other miracles in since they seem pretty bad mostly.
My first couple playthroughs used the Dark Sword which does ridiculous damage with a pretty good attack speed although it bounces off shields and is worthless in pvp cuz of the bad range.
Might try a pure intelligence build with soul spear and shit next playthrough.
