Favorite Movie of The Year

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

Favorite Movie of The Year

What's your favorite movie that came out this year so far?

For me it's "Sing Street" by a wide margin.

Came out last year, but by far the the best movie I saw this year was Denis Villeneuve's Sicario.

Villeneuve is now adapting Ted Chiang's The Story of Your Life (aka, "Arrival")

Best movie that I saw that came out in 2016?

Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups

Those are some good choices, Kirk. I have seen both movies and read the books they are based on.

I was worried Star Trek was gonna be bro-ish action trash, but it was refreshingly good after a bit of a disjointed start.
