Eurocup 2016

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

It's the Euro cup; I don't have a team in it, but there is no denying Ronaldo's greatness unless you're delusional.

he did a great job securing a great Group 3rd place for his team

Germany on the other hand is the greatest, they have superior language and soccer prowess

The goal of the Group stage is to get to the knockout rounds and they did that. I guarantee every group winner would trade their place with Portugal right now.

France looked really good. They will be clear favorites headed into the final playing at home.

With 3 of their best players out and a stupid bench player handling call that led to a PK

they did pretty good keeping France pissing their pants the whole first half

France played good but it was a kind of failure from Germany.

they had some good opportinities in 1st half, yet they didnt score. They can only blame themselves for what happened next.
also Germany is the kind of team that has a low morale. If you score against them first, they are unlikely to do a come back.

Very true xmas

But admit it, we could have done better with Gomez, Khedira, Hummels, and Boetang(Second Half)

The Germans are kinda unimaginative (except Ozil and he didn't have a great game) and didn't really show much sharpness in the final third. Muller offers no real threat in behind because he isn't fast and he's not particularly strong in the air either (I think Germany missed Gomez more than anyone realized). When chances did fall to him this tournament, he didn't take them and that includes the game vs France. The French had considerably less possession but Griezmann makes them look dangerous and France seem to be able to pull off some intricate passing to make chances.

France will be the favourites in the final but Portugal are difficult to break down (the Hungary game was an anomaly) and could nick the game with Ronaldo or Sanches.

Hummels wasn't that badly missed compared to khedira or Gomez

khedira probably wouldn't hand a ball in his on penalty area
