The Penguins were the better team, but come on now that wasn't dominate performance. Essentially a 2-1 win before we cleared the net.

If the goaltending was equal, (Jones was an absolute freak especially the last 2 games) the rest of the play was dominated by the Pens. Look at the shot totals. The Shark's best players were virtually invisible the entire series, being shut down by the Pen's defense the entire time.

As a fan, game 7 would have been too nerve wracking. But yes, now the sadness of no hockey for a while again.

I watched this series. Penguins were visibly a better team. Huge speed+hustle advantage. Without Jones, Sharks get blown out all 4 games.

The Pen's motorcade rode past me on my way home yesterday. They had just gotten back into town. Drivers were going nuts and honking. My city > yours.

also, the entire population of Pittsburgh ~400k people showed up for our victory parade yesterday. Maybe boston would have a turnout similar if they didn't have so many fair-weather fans. Scratch that, their teams just reek of fail and not winning championships for dozens of decades at a time.
