I don't see the problem here. Duds happen. Hopefully the cap has enough of a robust strategy to handle minor tactical set backs like a few puss duds.

Just play gkg tagset if you find duds that unbarable

how often do you see 3 duds in a row? there % chance of that has to be astronomical...

duds only happen to adren. they made it like that in 1.7.2. also, you use motion interpolation, so you are gay.

switch can't imagine being in an mwc finals match.

Really not much to discuss here. If you like duds then don't complain, if you don't like duds then use GKG tagset. I even offered $50 if it was used for a round in MWC...

I never even realized this was an option until you mentioned it... I don't pay much attention to the details between updates. I haven't been into my prefs in a long time... I'm assuming it defaults to enabled when you install 1.8?? I'll have to play with it later to see what the difference is.

I think overall it does improve the smoothness of the game a fair bit; it's hard to go back after you've had it on for a while Slow-motion/films are obviously the most improved but you can notice it in arrows/debris flight paths even at full speed.

It also doesn't really have any performance impact which is why it defaults to on (as most people do prefer it). But yeah, the option is there if you don't for whatever reason, although it seems like in your case you didn't even notice.

Well that side-by-side basically sold me on keeping it enabled... not sure what kirk thinks is gay about this... it is clearly an improvement.

He just doesn't like anything different/changed... see his other posts Which is fine in this case; that's why there's an option.

To be fair adren does not notice a lot of things. like 80% of his army getting blown up by my gol bomb.

Fraps, yes. Download a cracked version via torrent so you don't have the watermark in your vids though.

Just remember to make FRAPS stop recording after every TAKE! It films in RAW, which means the video is uncompressed. Which means, THE AMOUNT OF HARD DRIVE SPACE IT TAKES UP IS FRIGGEN HUGE! We are talking multiple GIGS for just over a minute or 2 of footage. Its best to get an extra hard drive or like external USB 3.0 HD to save the files to. Though your C drive would work fine as well. When you compress the footage after exporting it with your video editing program the files will be WAAAAAYYYYY smaller in size, so thats good news. You can also use a FREE program like FREEMAKE to convert the uncompressed RAW AVI files fraps exports into MP4 or something and they will be about 95% smaller in file size, but still great quality.
