I wish I could see this kid's moms reaction

I never had the chance to go to overnight camp as a child (I have this thing where I don’t enjoy being abandoned in the middle of the woods by my loved ones), but based on this 8-year-old’s letter home, I might have been missing out.
The postcards are sprinkled with traditional camp activities like kayaking and shooting rifles, but if I was to pick a central theme, it would be “poop”
This kid skips the usual pleasantries and goes right to important stuff, regaling his mother with tales of steaming horse poop, ignited farts and explosive “diyareeya” (which may or may not have had something to do with the 23 push pops he’d eaten over the course of the week).
Someone should hit up Michael Showalter and David Wain because this would be fantastic source material for the “Wet Hot American Summer” sequel.
