MythChat doesn't work with GoS?

Gate of Storms (GoS) is a metaserver (lobby) for Myth II Soulblighter multiplayer where you can play online with friends and strangers alike for free.

Does MythChat work with GoS? I've tried, it doesn't seem to, am I setting it up wrong?

It's too old and was never updated to support the new encrypted protocol. So no, it won't work unless they update it.
