I am working a map that tells a story where Cu'Roi and Murgen along with a small contingent of men escaped the tain, and were ultimately stranded in a turnip farm while they recovered from their most courageous travails.

There are some maps there where lights/dark etc isn't written like

Shuffle

and some others i think. does this mean both light and dark versions are ok to be picked or what?

Under Muirthemne should only allow the Light mesh if it's going to be used. The other meshes have units that no one has and idea how they work.

Barrens - LMOTH
Why only LMOTH? CTF/FR/TERT & KOTM are all fine here.
Divide Light - FR/ASS
Divide Dark - ASS
These should have the option of Territories & KOTM as well. By far the most exciting game type on this map
Hver Light - CTF
Hver Dark(leg) - CTF/ASS
Flag Rally options as well as Hver(Shadow)
Grilling Grounds - CTF
Light version only. Dark has MG's & Siege has Trebuchets
Barb Valley Dark - LMOTH/FR/
Remove LMOTH. It's the most unbalanced map for that gametype. I don't know how people have been picking that game type on that map for 10+ years. the same side wins 90% of the time.

Can we get rid of Under Muirtheme [Only light mesh is playable here], Cracks/Clash, Veince (allies) come on now allies is broken in this game.

With the exception of maybe some Arcane Meshes there is literally no strating that needs to be done for any of the map picks. They have all been played hundreds of times and everyone should know the cookie cutter trades. IT'S OK to add more maps especially since the 8 below are by far some of the best in the game.

PS: Also someone should put together 1 giant map pack where you can download all the maps in the tournament from one DL. If not it's going to be a mess considering there is a lot of maps and no map links as of now.

I might add some more maps after this round.

I'll adjust the gametypes on Barrens, Divide Light/Dark & FR on Hver. I'll clarify the GG accordingly.

i have practically never capped any of those and some of those maps have like 5 meshes with many gametypes also listed. i won't have time to even check most of those so do not add all them to the list. if you add a few and tell it well in advance then maybe i'd have time to check a few out. no one will have an especially enjoyable experience if the cap has no idea about the map before capping

me playing a map once or twice during 5 or so years doesn't really leave a memory trace whatsoever. if i'm to cap a map efficiently i'd need to check all those meshes individually, not to mention checking out flag placements and shit for all the possible game types.
i'm not willing to do that with a few days notice for several combinations because i just don't have time, maybe 2-3 maps max. but feel free to pick any of those completely unfamiliar maps for easy wins against me then

Decided to compromise by adding 4 this week, and 3 next.

Shattered Earth has its fair share of really bad pathfinding bugs, so that won't be put in.
