Here we are in week six folks, following this weekend we will only have half of the teams left in the tournament!

First off, big props to Ageha and Noobs Inc for their participation in MWC16 this summer. It's tough to go down early, but these teams fought hard against their competitors and are not going home without a match victory under their belts.

Remember, matches are determined by Win/Tie/Loss.

Third, a quick note about Rosters. I've decided to change the roster rules because of the failure in compliance for them which I found to be valid and reasonable. Team Primary Players remain at 10, but Seconary Player limits are now unlimited. Teams may also recruit substitutes not on their rosters, if they are complaince with both team's captains wishes. No player should switch between one team to the other in the middle of a contested match. This will be amended to the Concise Thread's rules ASAP.

Fourth, if your Team's captain is not available to oversee or play in a match, please designate a player from your team to communicate needs and desires to the opposing team's captain.

Finally, Another reminder from the Concise Thread, about matches which end in a tie:
In the event of a tie in the Double Elimination rounds, the team with lower qr placement will pick the 6th map to be played first, and the team with higher qr placement will pick the gametype and time limit following the map pick.


Looking to the future:
1) I would like the finals maps to be picked by the captains of the Top Bracket Champions (4 picks) and Bottom Bracket Champions (3 picks) respectively. Top Brack Champs will have a bye week, so they have a good amount of time to make their choices. BBC will only have 24 hours to make their picks following their victory, we want the picks available for both teams as soon as possible. No captain will know their opponents picks, repeats are allowed and the picks will be revealed simultaneously. Good luck.

2) Expect the winners of DE3's Bottom Bracket matches to be schedueled to play against each other the following week (DE4), and following that match they will play the losers of the Top Bracket Finals on the same weekend.
