When should the tournament begin: The discussion

I'd like for the first "week" of play to begin on the last weekend in feb or first weekend in mar.
Given the likelihood of a low amount of entered teams, I wouldn't want to begin until they could field optimal forms of their lineups.
24/25 or 3/4. This would run 8 weeks maximum and 5 weeks minimum, depending on turn out. I'd also like for there to be enough time for people to feel some myth withdrawals, hopefully energizing a great gathering for this year's MWC.

Are people forming teams or are we doing a different format?

If we are forming our own teams I'd like to join one.

we're doing the traditional tws/mwc style of creating teams. the previous TWS draft-styled tournament, later resulting in re-drafted rosters for eliminated participants, was quite interesting. but I did not host that and think it's best to keep with tradition for the best turn outs for this year !
