a tournament every season? myth 2017

so far this year, we finished up a winter tournament. in 2016, we saw 3 major team tournaments take place across the seasons of winter/spring, summer, and fall.
will this be the year where we complete the quad-fecta?

With GKG's potential intentions to host MWC during the summer, and quite a few months until June, I've decided to host two tournaments during the Spring of 2017.
The first tournament will be based on 1v1 play, while the second tournament will be based on an open roster team event. Consider these events the MWC pre-season for our active and returning Mythers. I will be opening registrations soon, the team registration will be announced following the 1v1 registration announcement. You will know registration is open when Registration threads created by me appear in their appropriate tournament forums on Myrgard.
A catch to these tournament games is that we will be using the No Overhead Map feature. This is non-negotiable and I hope you look forward to the games under this condition.
The 1v1 tournament will initially be open to the public for about 3 weeks. The top 8 participants will proceed to a round robin, seeding out a bracket. There will be limitations to how many times you can play an opponent during a short period of time.
The team tournament will have open rosters unlike the previous draft tournaments, so finding a team is up to you ! I suggest teaming up with players that will motivate you to be active and want to show up every weekend with this opportunity.
The current agenda is to open 1v1 play on March 31st and end the open stage on April 24th. I'd like to begin team play on the weekend of April 21st, participation pending, so that this can be wrapped up by the final week of May.
If you think you will be active on the server in the month of April, I highly encourage you to sign up for the 1v1 tournament! It is a great way to learn new tricks and practice your skills; the lack of overhead map should provide for some exciting games! As for the team tournament: spread the word to your fellow mythers about the open rosters and create or find a group to play with on the weekends in late April and throughout the month of May. This may be the only open roster tournament of the year, so be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to gather your old buds for some Carnage, just don't forget to apply within!
