Cant autohost

With 1.8.1 I find I can no longer autohost in ranked?
Anybody know why?

Umm, wanker, I have hosted about 300,000 games including about 5,000 autohost games.
I bought software to help make it happen.
Now that you, through no action of your own, can miraculously host, do you think I am somehow wrong
about my not being able to autohost in ranked?
Please just stifle yourself.

Maybe I should elaborate, everything looks good when I try to autohost except the START button
doesn't light up.
