Welcome to the National Myth Draft League 2015, a tournament with a unique layout that should prove to be just as interesting as it is competitive and well attended.

The format is thus, we will accept applications for both teams of no more than four (4) players, as well as sign ups of individual players. Once we receive all of the sign ups, we will seed the teams and players. If a player is listed on an applicant team he must also post individually and sign up to assure the validity of applicant teams.

Only the 6 highest seeded teams will remain structured as they are, with the remaining teams' players being divided among a draft pool.

The goal is to create 6 teams of 4 players, and then have an automatic draft of the remaining sign ups as per the predetermined seeds of the 4-man teams, rounding out the 6 teams with drafted players, hopefully resulting in teams of 7-8 players.

After the full 6 teams have been created, there will be a 5 week league comprising a 5-game match wherein every team faces off once. The 4 teams with the best records will ascend to the single elimination playoffs comprising 2 weeks. Seeding will accompany all placements, and the finals will be a 7 game match.

Fallback will be Sunday for all matches in the tournament, but I would advise attempting to schedule matches.

if one runs saturday and another runs sunday we could probably field some consistent weekend turn outs.

It is not max 4 players?

it is full teams

the 4 player entrants are theoretic cores

the top 6 teams via TO perspective will be kept together while any players left out of the core selection will be placed onto one of the 6 teams

players don't need to sign up with 3 other players, they can sign up individually to be placed on a team

This is my 3, i am waiting for confirmation on ratking, i sent them private messages. Lizard king already gave the thumbs up. I wanted to wait until it was official but i thought we can have an idea of what i wanted on paper so other teams can form.

My next question is, when do we draft spots 5-7,8?

Yeah, nothing says "legit" like having an avowed dummier on the team who purposely tanked a match because he suddenly didn't like his team.

Suddenly? I was planning that for a good week. Have to know when to seize the moment wwo.

I think this tourney should just be put on hold and it's energies transferred to TWS this winter, which par should host.

I'd be down to play a short tourney when the weather gets colder.
