ghengis vs asmo
gk’s team has 4 power type players, which is great. However, one of these will need to captain. A few are capable but probably very rusty at it. Asmo’s team looks to be one of the weakest in the draft. I can’t say why exactly, because I know and think highly of several of the players. Gk’s ready – four wins for them or possibly a broom.

rk vs gkg
Ah yes... the main event. I think the history surrounding this match makes it all the better. So gkg has for the most part kicked the crap out of my teams in past mwc’s. We all know how those teams are chosen, and lack of credibility or clout left me at a major disadvantage. However, gkg and I met again in asmo’s draft tourney finals, which my team and I won. Recently we had another show down in the kickball arena where my team and I won. Now of course these were not on the level of mwc competitiveness, but the draft finals may have come close. My point is this: for whatever reason I seem to do very well when the player field is leveled, and of course I plan to win this match. I have a great deal of respect for gkg and his players, but I came here to win. If I said anything less I would be selling my players and myself short. Most likely it’s going to be very close.

limp vs paris
I like limp’s team. Sam and rab could be a deadly combo. However limp isn’t really serious about this in my opinion. Leadership is top down and I don’t see it here. On the other hand we have paris’s team which looks to be primed for a rebound week. I also have to applaud paris for drafting kilgrath so late. Brilliant move because now he gets an 8 rated sub every game and didn’t waste a high pick! Paris takes this one – it could be close but I’m thinking not.

dantski vs zak
Both of these teams are having some issues with drama. I can’t see why, both tirri and dant are great players/captains. People need to lighten up. I really like zak’s roster and he clearly has the player advantage, and probably a morale advantage. Dantski is a better overall captain in my opinion, but zak should not be discounted here. Could be a very interesting/close match but I give the edge to zak.

Not trying to be a dick here, but you aren't winning this match.

For he record, I was a huge factor in a few of those kickball matches. I'm now on the other team. I don't think u have the firepower to beat us... especially considering 3/5 games are trow maps.

I think it should be an interesting match.
Looking at the teams I think the matchups at the top of the roster look fairly good and fairly close.

Ratking - GKG = slight advantage GKG
EW - Adren = slight advantage EW
Flat - Myrk = even

Ratkings team has more depth from 4-8 though so predicting a 3-2 Ratking win in a very close match.

you are over thinking this. Neither of your team's has Asmo, you both lose in the end.

I'm not sure I would agree, necessarily. Punkuser's a bit of a gamer, and has a competitive streak: he might surprise you. Having said that, I played a few games against Funky last year and he impressed me with his ability, but doesn't seem to have the same confidence in 2team, so that's always a possibility with some of these other players as well. As it is I'm giving GKG the edge coming into the match just because he had some good pick-ups including what I would call tragically underrated players. Ratking's team could prove very competent but it will be difficult to overcome the solid playing ability of GKG's roster.

Also re: funky. I did some 1v1's with him and he is underrated. He just needs some more 2team tournament style experience and this is it.

look, i am never really the first one to open my mouth. You posted this thread with no doubt some self-serving motivations. I always let my play do the talking for me...unless of course someone wants to open their mouth first. And that's fine, shittalking is all part of any competition, but be prepared to either back it up or eat it later. Certainly don't try to all of the sudden double back and pull the "grace and dignity" card after the fact.

I have not watched the films but I saw quite active rosters last week for both teams. I expect a tight match and this will be the most interesting matches (that is not my team) to watch. Considering I rarely see limp play due to timezone differences and paris to be more active when I am on, im vouching for Paris. On compassionate grounds LOL
