Upload your formations for a returning myther?

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

Upload your formations for a returning myther?

Post by Zak »

My brother wants to get back into myth, can someone like GKG, Adrenaline, or somebody with fairly standard formations (mine are too weird) upload their formations for him to download?

Thanks

loose line - 6 per row, 3.5 spacing
staggered line - 8 per row, 2.5 spacing
box - 0.35 spacing

on rare occasion I will use the mob and circle formations at 1.5 and 1.25 spacing respectively. On even rarer occasion I might use the short line and long line formations which I use 30 per row for each, then 1.25 and 0.35 spacing respectively.

those are the only formations you should need, the top 3 are the only really important ones.

GKG you don't use a tight #1 as a styg wall to protect duff?

Am I this out of date?

Edit: Oh nm you have it as #2 weird

Double Edit: What do you use circle formation for?

I posted them on mnet forums recently... but anyways, he can download them here:

That is my entire local folder.. so it also contains my observer constants.

For what enculator just said.

melee circle formation + dorf/fetch in the middle = win

I haven't really seen anyone else use it but me. very effective though. ideal for 15 thrall 1 dorf flag defenses, but you can move around with it too. it usually confuses people and they may try to waste a bunch of pus trying to throw over or through it.

having that as #2 is not weird. the only difference between a long line and a short line is the name, you can make them anything you want. you could make the long line a short line and vice versa if you wanted. #2 is easier to press though, so you would put whatever you use more frequently there.

Ah thats a good idea

I know its irrational but I feel like most b.net holdovers just never altered #2

No brakes on you getting raped because you have a 10 man long line, true.
