So after making this tourney thread, I started to think to myself who is the best?

Has gkg slipped due to lack of care?

Will Adren step up and fill the void?

Who will be the next big captain? Cremisi? Karma?

Will THOR attempt to reassert himself in the myth history books?

Will my idiot flatline continue to dominate as he did in the draft tourney?

When will grim ever log back onto myth?

I have a feeling if August logged on more all would be well.

KB tourney was kinda amusing on this front because GKG was the best player yet was never on the winning team. The last 3 games showed this off perfectly as he did the most damage every time yet was never able to carry his team.

Will Adren step up and fill the void?

Adren on the other hand won both weeks he played and did a good job. He's also back to being super active and that never hurts (well his GF might hurt him).

Who will be the next big captain? Cremisi? Karma?

Well I never pull the "care" excuse because I am almost always a competitor. If I am not competing then I am wasting my time and would just log off.

I am not at my mwc-level of care that is all, and that is the same for probably everyone. And that is a good thing, it is good to not be burnt out. I save all my care for the last 2 or so matches of mwc. Those are the only ones that really matter to me for the entire year. So I only have to really care at my fullest for like 2 weeks out of the year, big deal. Easily worth it given the level of satisfaction I get to enjoy with my teammates from winning mwc for the next whole year.

If I cared a bit more then I certainly would have captained because I get easily frustrated when others captain me, I usually prefer to just do it myself. It is a dangerous balance though because doing your due diligence in capping properly is a lot of work too. Also as I found out in the recent draft tourney, and years ago when I captained for TWD in tournaments, capping shitty players is also very frustrating.

I did alright, could have done better. I should be back in proper form coming in time for mwc. I am actually getting some new hardware as well which I think with some proper training may allow me to play even better than ever before.

p.s. if anyone is going to choose a player to fill my void, it certainly wouldn't be adren. c'mon, there are better choices out there.

the GKG myth care bear cannot sustain itself year-round, that is impossible. Full blown gkg-mode can only happen 2 weeks per year.

One of the main reasons I no longer play Myth besides the fact that my account is banned is that I have no desire to associate with the likes of you. Sure, Spa may be an easy target for trolling because he's a very sincere guy. I can also acknowledge that he can be frustrating guy to team with because you can always count on him, even in tournament games, to care more about other player's feelings than about winning the game.
