Downloaded some new video editing software... couldn't think of what to make a video of, but then it clicked! THE highlight of MWC 2012 Don't really know my way around this particular software yet and I didn't spend too much time making this... I think it turned out ok though. Enjoy!

Listen dudes, on the topic of editing videos, I have Adobe Premiere but I have no clue how to upload/insert the file into the editing track.

Any assistance?

I know nothing about Premiere. I'm using CyberLink PowerDirector. Take a look if there is a file/import function.

Nice man. I used PowerDirector for the 1.8 promo video as well and it seemed pretty competent for the price.

It's rated as the top video editing software of 2013... also the cheapest among the top 10! not that I pay for software... but still!

Yeah I had a few crashes while using it but for the most part everything I wanted to do was fairly easy to accomplish. That said, my needs were not incredibly complex in that video.

ya i crashed once... thank god it autosaved a temp project file or that video never would have seen the light of day.

when you import the file, i take it you select it from the myth/recordings folder. in your timeline do you then see the footage stretched out in a way that allows you to edit and paste like any other video?

When I attempt to file/import and go to the myth recordings folder, none of the recordings are available to upload

You can't just import a raw Myth recordings file... they include game actions, not video. You need to layer camera movements, etc. on top of it by playing back the recording in Myth and using screen capture software to generate a video file from it.
