ghengis, why are there 11 games in your series with captain which you scored 6-4. I counted it as 7-4, which obviously doesn't make sense. Also, according to the games I am looking at, you won the match 6 games in, when it was 4-2. Did you guys agree to not count a game or something? If that were the case, you need to tell me, obviously I won't know what game to not count unless you tell me.

It was 6-4-1... they tied on Float CTF I think.

*Just read adrens comment...that is probably what happened it was 5% to 4% (I think) on float so he probably got that marked as a win when it was a tie.

ah yep that's it, didn't catch that, mystery solved. got to remind myself to look for that.

it marked it as 1st places for both of you actually, it is properly recorded as a tie tho.

just to be clear, we only played 2 matches, not 4. Par just reposted the scores.

okay so we now officially have our first 3 way tie, and it is a deep and complicated one, unfortunately.

After considering the matches, I have no choice but to give Asmo a ranking over paris. He beat paris fair and square in THREE matches, 3-0 (matches), and 2 of them were quick 3-1 matches. Asmo is now ranked a WHOPPING 4th place, from his previous rank of like 15th. This is the most meteoric rise in rankings I think we will ever see.

This presents problems though because I don't like 3 way ties, it could be an ugly situation with people bitching. So there is a lot of ways this could go down, and it may in-fact never get broken. However this is the easiest way I foresee it getting broken:

1) Asmo, you need to replay HH, preferably at least twice, and get at least a tied, but preferably a winning match record against him.
2) Asmo needs to do the same thing against Gekko.
3) Sam needs to replay paris and beat him. (or Asmo beat Sam, but I find that unlikely.)

Going to repost this in another sticky thread specifically for refining rankings / breaking ties.

Nah Asmo got insanely lucky on 2 games against me and then rushed me one game when I thought we were letting each other up, happens definitely wouldn't mind a rematch.
