Re: FFA LEAGUE 2015 every THURSDAY 8-11 PM EDT
FOR ALL YOU FFA LEAGUE HATERS
who claim that ffa league's structure does not reflect skill:
Look at the stats for all FFA LEAGUES for which we have GoS data:
http://gateofstorms.net/tournaments/FFA2013
http://gateofstorms.net/tournaments/FFAL2014
http://gateofstorms.net/tournaments/FFA2015
Now, instead of ordering the players by score, click on the little "down button" in the "Win/Tie/Loss" column.
This gives you the players ordered by Win % instead of final score.
In every case, the top 5 players do not change: the high scorers also have the highest win percentages. Par and Lizard King, the winners in 2013 and 2014, won almost two thirds of their games even though they played almost a 100 of them! And rawr is on pace to repeat this feat, I might add. Thus, the winners of the ffa league are not just those who show up, as many claim, but those who are consistently excellent.
As a counterfactual, notice that in 2013 Obelix played 50 games, but only won two (lol), in 2014 Two Smoking Guns played 68 games and only won seven (LOL), and Jahral is on pace to shatters these records: coming into week 5 he's played 51 games and won 3.

From what I've seen, there's usually an average of 10 (or more) participants, which would make TSG right at the average for wins (7/68 ~~ 1/10). Also, tffa <> ffa, so this is all moot anyway.c⁄J⁄Iılk c⁄J⁄Iån ◊§t◊ wrote: in 2014 Two Smoking Guns played 68 games and only won seven (LOL).

GGs this week!
The mysterious Braille had a good outing with a whopping 64 points and moved into third place. Samuel was close behind with 62. Rawr only scored a middling but respectable 34 points, but still managed to get some separation due to a poor performance from Asmo who went 0 and 7.

Really fun games tonight guys, and a great turnout. Pretty even score distribution, but HMP managed to edge Mals out by 3 points, scoring 42. Rawr started off strong but lost his focus, scoring a mere 14. Still, he's broken the 200 mark, with HMP and and:Braille both trailing by a (still very surmountable) 30 points or so.
GGs! Cya next week!

Well GGs this week guys. We had great attendance but everyone decided to leave 15 minutes early. Well, that's okay. Head Hunter lead the pack this week with 24 points, followed by Billy Butt with 23 on an impressive 75% win ratio. Rawr's up to 219 points, but Braille is still keeping pace about 30 points behind. Cya next week!

It's interesting that the mysterious Braille, currently in 2nd place, has now surpassed rawr in both win ratio and dmg, seems like he is on pace to overtake rawr in the next few weeks if rawr doesn't step it up.
FFA League on pace to have it's first blind champion.

Re: FFA LEAGUE 2015 every THURSDAY 8-11 PM EDT
Well a very comedic night. Myth of Gor Ash was picked 5 times in a row and limp somehow brainwashed a bunch of noobs to rush rawr every game to Asmo's benefit. Braille came within 6 points of overtaking rawr earlier on before rawr pulled away again, and he now has 42 points left before claiming the title. Lot's of laughs + hack'n'slashy. GGs, cya next week!

I'm in 11th place, not bad for 58 people. Almost up to Milk Man's 9th.

GGs today guys. A smaller but committed core of players, and we played a ton of games! Rawr is 15 points short of finishing him, so I suggest anyone who wants a shot at this show up next week!

Does this mean Rawr is taking myth all serious and shit? Will he stack together a MWC team for an easy win in 2016? Are private 1v1 and Mazz lessons with GKG in order? Only time will tell.par73 wrote:congrats rawr ! 1st tourney win ever !
