I realize, that's how the brackets work out, but since someone from gentlemen and now you mentioned this have fun playing each other.

Meh, that site gives you 0 customization options and I did not realize that until teams started falling to the bottom bracket. The intention was to give the teams that had the best score in the QR the easiest match ups possible so that the QR wasn't completely useless. Now that ULMS and Gentlemen want a different opponent they can just play each other.

Indeed, the initial seeding makes sense, but normally you swap the matchup in the BB for this reason. I assume that's why the site does that.

Anyways up to you, just wanted to make sure it was a plan and not a mistake.

lets play the Sunday 8am EST like before, that time was great, and Killerking you going to show up this time because if you do not, do not expect the rest of us to, especially on such a crucial match last week considering I got up at 4am to play and our captain coudnt even be there I see little or no point playing further.

No one, myself included, thinks I don't know the meaning of that word. If that fact is in dispute for you, you should clarify the accusation so we can compare my definition with the one you think I'm mistakenly using. Otherwise, your sentence is about as devoid of genuine content as reading pig entrails or cast rune stones.

Speaking of language, here's how people over the age of 8 would construct your sentence:

The word you should look up in the dictionary is "team," before you make ignorant comments, wwo.

Note that the comma within the quoted word is becoming archaic, with commas now commonly coming (consonance, yeah baby) after the quotation mark.

Just trying to help.

why is the fallback of our match set for Sunday 2pm EST? ULMS is set for euro time zone, we are american. it should be Sunday 1pm EST.

Also why is this match not fallbacked for Saturday, so that the winner of this match and the winner of underdogs/teabaggers appropriately play on Sunday as per MWC rules that state bottom bracket teams play two matches per weekend.

does that mean we'll be taking forfeit victory of the Teabaggers/Underdogs winner at 4pm Sunday EST?

Asmodian wrote:Now that ULMS and Gentlemen want a different opponent they can just play each other.
how about ULMS plays Underdogs and Gents play Teabaggers, then.

if this happens, the fallbacks work out evenly to saturday and if both of these teams advance they could play at 1pm Sunday EST no problem.

If either one of teabaggers or underdogs advance from their Winnowing round, the Elimination match should then be set for 10 am Sunday EST.

clarify what? is it that hard to figure out? This week was originally going to be a BYE for everyone, but it was changed so that only the bottom bracket teams play this week. The Top bracket teams aren't playing due to 4th of july weekend, so it makes it so the bottom bracket teams only have to play 1 game this week and 1 the next instead of doubling up.

If you choose Europe...
...and you play a team from America: Sunday, 2pm server time
...and you play a team from Europe: Sunday, 1pm server time
...and you play a team from Japan/Australia: Sunday, 8am server time
...and you play a team with international timezone: Sunday, 6am server time

you never showed for your team, your arguments are invalid.
There is major difference in performance compare the two matches, besides I don't need to explain to a nuff nuff because I know already I would smash you in a game during my timezone.

This thread has a bunch of posts that should be deleted or moved but aren't, even though another scheduling thread was pampered in that manner, way back in the qualifying rounds. Oh the biases of mwc2014

i don't have enough players confirming for 8am (5 hours from now)

so i think we'll have to 'offically' play on Sunday at 2pm EST

however I personally challenge you and whatever squad you can assemble to play me personally (and if any other gents online but i doubt they will be) at 8am (5 hrs from now).

If I win, we can skip the whole Sunday at 2pm EST schpiel, deal? Or we can continue then.

Any games you win you can use as leverage against us at Sunday 2pm. Or we can just forget about them.

what say you, for a 10 game series? ;)

in all reality, rescheduling for next week would be 'okay', because I thought we were going to have a double header this weekend playing two bottom bracket matches in a 1-day single elimination tournament between the bottom 4 teams, and it never happened. but gents are not agreeing to rescheduling at this time and this should be a match time decision between whoever shows up for their respective teams.
