1.8 Testers should DO this NOT that...

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

1.8 Testers should DO this NOT that...

Post by Renwood »

Do give good information rich feedback. Saying "This sucks" or "Its choppy" Is not useful feedback. Tell them what you are running it under, are you in OpenGL, Direct 3D? Software, the more specific the more useful the feedback will be.
Give your system specs: OS, CPU, Video card, Ram amount, What version of 1.8 you are running and so on.

If something goes wrong, post the myth log. Its a .txt file that Myth makes every time you play myth and is sitting in your main myth folder.

Give as many details as you can on a subject. Your specs and FILMS of things along WITH a myth log are really helpful to find and fix bugs.
Give Magma a break, creating a game for MULTIPLE PLATFORMS and releasing all at the same time is no easy task. Lend a little help to make certain this game we all know and love can be polished into the gem it deserves to be.

A large testing cross section/base is IMPORTANT TO ANY multiple platform game. This is not F-ing making some damned XBOC360 game or PS3 title where all the end users have the same specs and OS.

Magma can do their part 100% PERFECT and they will STILL need the help of us myth players to put on our tester hats and pitch in.

Time to eat a peach that is sitting here staring at me.
