is myth dead?

A single berserk reached us yesterday, after having come all the way over the mountains from the city of Willow, fourteen hundred miles away. He delivered to Alric a single package the size of a man's fist, wrapped in rags, and refuses to talk with anyone about events in the West.

Definitely "sparse" (not uncommon for this time of year though) but not totally dead it seems (props MM):

Organized events are likely to be the best way to get decent games these days in any case.

this has happened every year since 2005 with the exception of last year and 2007 so it is no big surprise really.
we've been having bigger turnouts early in the year compared to the middle of the year (when almost everyone is busy)

when i log on these days there usually 1 - 5 people on, generally the perma-afk people like rawr, samuel. almost never see a game. even in 2010-2012 there 3- 4 times as many people on.

There were like 26 players online last night with about 5 games going on. You just got to show up at the right day of the week and time of day. It varies a lot. Time of the year also is a factor. If you stick around, you might even see enough players to start a game. If you leave after a few seconds, others will do the same and it won't build up for a game you may want to play.

The amount of players/games is irrelevant. It's the quality of games that matters, and that has taken a serious nosedive. All that is left is a handful of trolls and idiots that don't know how to/care to play the gametype in any given game. Even the FFA League games were a joke. Myth, as far as I am concerned, is dead.

I was 1000% going to play a couple of games the other day. Logged in and there were 4 people.

Immediately left

What's funny is those FFA League games were probably the best games I've seen since being back, and Milk Man is easily one of the worst hosts ever. Most of the time like yesterday the only games were hosted by summer (arguably the dumbest jap myther ever) and malsleizure (who? If you don't know him consider yourself lucky). Myth is dead except for the retards that have no other game to go to.

Sounds inhumane... no port 3453 forwarding. I'd sue the government.
