Congrats to The Wight Foundation, who have won MWC2016 and bring the most champions a victorious season across Myth World Cups all time defeating The Syndicate in the Grand Finals 5-2.
This MWC was one of the most inclusive myth tournaments of Gate of Storms, spanning 123 games of Myth II Soulblighter and about 76 players came out to field 8 different teams for this tournament. The collective efforts of the community as a whole surpassed my expectations when it came to adjusting and accommodating for the new system. It was a pleasure to build MWC in this fashion giving every opportunity to play if the situation was right. We also had one of the most community inclusive map selections during the course of the tournament thanks to about 8 of us who stepped up when called upon!
This concludes another installment of the Myth World Cup! There was a true community effort put into this tournament, and without your passion for the game it would not have been as much fun of a time that we could have had otherwise.
