The games kicked off this weekend. Unfortunately there was a forfeited match and hopefully the past will not repeat itself this coming weekend! The team who received forfeit in that match, TBD, will be heading to the Upper Bracket Finals! TBD will be playing against GG, aka, The Rakshasas, who 5-0 swept OP in the first round!

OP will be scheduled to play against FotI, who forfeited their first match. Due to the knowledge of FotI's current situation, Akira will be stepping in to captain and organize that team for this weekend. A big thanks to Akira for graciously volunteering against his will in times of his team's need, he's a true team player.

Thanks to everyone who did show up to play. While it sucked to see one of the matches turn out in a forfeit, it did provide the second game to produce 5 full 8v8 games which is always enjoyable. Maybe by divine intervention we will field a healthy 32 players next week for two full matches, we'll have to see how the chips fall.
